In response to the recent news about coronavirus (COVID-19), our prayers to God are for those who are ill with the virus and for those who care for them. We also pray for healthcare and frontline workers as they face their day to day tasks.
Until further notice, there will be no services at the Antioch Baptist Church. This includes morning worship, Sunday school, choir rehearsals, Bible studies, and Church Anniversary. Additional updates will be made available to you as they are received. You may contact us by leaving a message at 706-724-2809. We will return your call as soon as possible.
There are steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of transmission even when that risk is low. Public Health offficials tell us that the best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to any virus. General prevention measures follow:
The measures taken to avoid exposure to COVID-19 can be disruptive and alarming. This may especially be a cause of concern for our senios. To futher reduce your risk of being exposed, persons with compromised immune systems or other underlying medical conditions, should consider staying at home during this outbreak.
We want to do all we can to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and informed. No matter how frightening this crisis may become, our hope is built on the perfect love and protection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
